To start troubleshooting, go to Settings and type This one looks like an obvious thing to do, but in case you forgot about this option, then try to see if the audio in your system is not muted.
To do so right-click the volume icon on your taskbar and select from the contextual menu. Try to mute and unmute them by clicking the sound icon in the Volume Mixer window. This method includes either updating your audio drivers or reinstalling them.
Faulty or corrupted audio driver is not the only reason why there could be no sound in your Windows operating system.
There could be different reasons for this problem and in order to fix it, you might need to try different solutions.
We recommends you to try out both of these methods.
To update your drivers you will need to use Device Manager.
Audio driver is software that enables your operating system (in this case, Windows) to communicate with your audio hardware.
